Okay fine, many of you, are thinking that it is a typing mistake and few of you recognize what's DSLT.

I can surely say that after reading the total post you'll get a transparent idea of what is DSLT.

DSLT stands for Digital Single-Lens Translucent.

Before knowing about the DSLT you've got to know how the DSLR works.

Many of us know about DSLR - Digital Single-Lens Reflex. 

In a DSLR camera, the image that you are taking passes through the lens in the form of light into a reflex mirror. This mirror reflects the light coming through the lens upwards at a 90-degree angle (see the first picture for imagination). It's then reflected by a pentaprism several times to align the reflected light in the same direction of coming light and get into the photographer's eye. When the photograph is taken, the mirror swings upward, and a shutter opens, allowing the lens to project light through the aperture onto the sensor.

DSLT cameras have a semi-transparent fixed mirror (instead of a totally reflective mirror, as in DSLR) which diverts a portion of incoming light to a phase-detection autofocus sensor, while the remaining light strikes a digital image sensor(see the second picture). The image sensor feeds the electronic viewfinder and also records still images and video on command. In the time of the division of light through the mirror, 30 percent of light goes to the viewfinder and 70 percent to the image sensor. The mirror is fixed in that case. The total amount of light is not changed, just some of the light travels one path and a few of it travels the other.

The samples of DSLR are Canon EOS 50D, Nikon D5000, Nikon D3000, Canon EOS 7D, Olympus Evolt E520

In case of DSLR, when the mirror flips, a vibration creates which causes blurry picture. In that view DSLT is better that DSLR.
